The NBA Admits They Messed Up With Non Goaltending Call
Yesterday, the NBA admitted that officials fucked up by not making a goaltending call late in game one between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Denver Nuggets.
“Although a player is permitted to touch the net while the ball is in the cylinder above the rim,” the league said in a statement, “Perkins also touched the ball while it was still in the cylinder which is a violation and constitutes goaltending.”
There is three fucking officials out there, how do they miss that call? That’s brutal. But, at least they had the balls to admit they messed up.
Kendrick Perkins basket gave his team a 102-101 lead, and they eventually finished off the Nuggets, 107-101, to take game one of the series.
