Roy Williams Proposed, Got Rejected, Sued To Get Ring Back
Poor Roy Williams. He’s not very good at football, and he’s not very good at proposing, either. Or handling rejection for that matter.
Back in February, the Dallas Cowboy proposed to his then girlfriend, Brooke Daniels. He bought Miss Texas a $76,000 ring and thought it be a good idea to send it to her in a Valentines Day package along with a voice recording of him proposing.
Bad idea. Abort. Abort.
Daniels shockingly turned down his smooth Postal Service proposal, but decided to keep that huge rock.
Oh hell no, bitch! Williams is not going to let that shit slide. He filed a lawsuit against her and her father to get the ring back. And apparently it worked. According to TMZ, Daniels mother said she returned the ring Wednesday.
Well, I hope you learned your lesson, Roy. Never propose to a chick through the mail with a $76,000 ring. Next time just fax her over a picture of the ring, and send her a text message of your proposal with a smiley face at the end. Bitches love smiley faces.
